Use the Task Manager to keep track of personal action items, or delegate tasks to subordinates or members of a project team. You can follow the progress of a task from start to completion, and can view status by owner, project or other criteria you choose.

The Task Manager allows you to quickly and easily:

You can use the Task Manager to manage projects and coordinate deliverables among all members of a department or project team, to track your own action items. Whether you are in the office, on the road or working at home, you'll always have access to the most up-to-date task list.

• Coordinate Remote Project Teams
  Create tasks associated with various projects and categories. Delegate tasks to project team members, while still monitoring their status. Make the tasks visible to other team members so the group can track progress. Tasks may be viewed by authorized team members from anywhere at any time.

• Manage Multiple Projects
  Create multiple projects and view or print only the tasks associated with a specific project. Assign permissions to department members, so they see only the tasks that relate to their project. You can supervise several projects while protecting the confidentiality of each one.

• Take Control of Your Personal To-Do List
  Track personal action items that are private to you. Synchronize your task list with your Palm® handheld or with Microsoft® Outlook. Print your task list sorted by project, category, or delivery date.

Personal Action Items	Keep your personal to-do list on your intranet site, and it will be available from anywhere. Your personal action items remain private and are visible only to you.
Delegate Tasks to Others	Create tasks and assign them to others within your department or project team. The assigned owners update the status and you can view their progress at any time.
Track Status by Project, Owner, Date	Track the progress of all the tasks in a project or all the deliverables of a single employee. Use the flexible viewing features to manage all your projects to successful completion.
Secure Permissions	Decide who has the right to view a task. You can delegate a task to one member of a project team, and then grant status viewing rights to members of an oversight committee.
